Family Home in Swiss Cottage

This family home in North London needed a complete remodelling to serve better the needs of the family. The front entrance was re-positioned so to provide better connection to the main spaces of the house. The front facade was remodelled to include larger windows. The lower-ground floor was rebuilt in its entirety, including the demolition of two existing extensions, in order to restore its consistency with the historic fabric of the building and also to improve the arrangement of the sleeping areas.

Internally, the home was completely refurbished and rearranged. It received a new stair, glazing, flooring, kitchen, joinery and bathrooms, as well as new electrical wiring and lighting scheme.

The terrace adjoining the living room was also rebuilt and now it benefits from a spiral staircase which connects it to the garden.
